I have a NEW...
JOB! I have been thinking about going back to work for a couple of months now but haven't really been pursuing it too hard. I applied here and there and out of the blue I got a phone call last week Saturday(the day I left for vacation) from the Director of L&D at a local hospital. She had somehow lost my application and was wondering if I was still interested...of course I was. So today I went it and had a "mini" interview and was offered the job. She said I can start when ever I am ready to, so now I just have the ordeal of figuring out child care. I am just going to work on a very part time basis but I am very excited to get back in the workforce and do what I love(besides being a mom, wife, and wannabe photographer). I will be rotating through Labor and Delivery, post partum, nursery and GYN patients. I can't wait to learn more. I really love the whole birth process, I know some people think I am crazy but that's just who I am. It amazes me.

That's great :)
That's awesome! Which hospital is it? I envy you....I definitely miss being with my patients. I keep praying that God will drop something that suits what I need and what the kids need right into my lap!
Good luck :-)
Congratulations to you!! This is good news. :)
On a side note, I agree with you about the denial thing, no way can you truly honestly not have any clue you are pregnant. Craziness...
That sounds fantastic!! Congratulations!!
Congrats, sounds like my dream job! :) Good luck with childcare, I would offer, but it is a bit of a drive ;)
Congrats!
Yea! I'm so jealous! I really miss L&D nursing, and I'm sure you'll love being back at work, even if it's just a little bit. Have lots of fun for me!
Oh, and let me know if ya'll are still planning on coming to visit in August, and when. My sister and her family are coming on the 25th-1st. We'd love to see ya'll!
How exciting, Lindsay! You'll do great. Lots to learn and exciting to see babies born. We're waiting for my niece to have her baby here - due this past Tuesday so induction set for next Tuesday if nothing happens. Then the fun begins....
I'm still enjoying helping those lactating moms. : - )
Congrats on the job! I am sure you will love being back at work.
I love the photographs you take and your girls are just SO adorable!!
Good for you. I am still in the fight with employment. Daycare is the biggest hurdle I have, that's for sure. I would so be a nurse, or OB if I wasn't in my field. And of course, if I didn't like the market so much...
congrats Lindsay!! I am so happy for you!!!
