I know you know what time it is...it's Not Me! Monday! time!!! This lovely blog carnival was created by Mckmama at MyCharmingKids. She is gonna spice it up a little so I read. This is gonna be a short one:
I did not stay up late on Friday night watching countless episodes of My First Place and Property Virgins on HGTV only to not want to yell at the people on TV because they were so clueless about buying a house. I do not get way too into those shows. I do not want to move all the time. I don't even like looking at houses. I did not drive around today looking at houses I can't afford and I did not try to come up with a way to buy a condo on the water to rent. No, I would never waste my valuable time with such silly ideas.
I did not buy a cute pettiskirt for my daughters to wear so I can dress them up like the little girls they are and take tons of pictures of them. They don't see me and automatically smile because they think I have the camera in my hand. I would never ignore work around the house so I can play around on the computer editing photos and learning tricks to be better. I am not that attached to a hobby. I do not have a million other things I should be doing.

I spend way to much on my hobby too! There are some nights that an hour or more can go by and I don't even realize it because I am so involved in my pictures!!
My sister in law jokes around that Lauren runs away from me because I have the camera rather than smiling! she should be used to it by now, like your girls and automatically pose for me! :)
Your so funny. I love the home part. I too LOVE looking at houses. I love to see the floor plans and try to imagine moving my furniture in them and decorating them myself. We just had the parade of homes here in Tulsa and I was so sad I couldn't go. But every year I go and look at all these (2nd or 3rd) homes that I sooooo cannot buy and go home and wish I could buy a new house. So maybe its best I didn't go this year.
Your daughters smiling every time they see you, Too funny! But I bet they look so darn cute when they turn and see you and just start smiling from ear to ear.
My little kids do NOT do the same exact thing...
paste the fake grin when I call their name b/c they assume I am about to take their picture...

hehe... I love those shows too and get way too involved sometimes as well... they are so clueless sometimes!!
