Twisted
Why do companies package kids toys so well that it takes an adult longer to get the toy out of the box than it does to pick it out, walk it to the counter and pay for it? Yesterday, I took my girls to the mall because I need to exchange some pants. I told them if they didn't complain about anything that I would let them pick out something on our way out. McKenna really loves little animals. She decided on a set of three(yes only 3!!) toy animals. When we got home I opened the package and was not excited to see the outrageous number of twisty ties holding each animal foot in place. I thought I would be smart and cut them out...that worked but not so well. The animals were free from the box but the ties were twisted so tight around their feet that it must have taken me at least another 5 minutes just to untwist them. I just don't get it. These are kids toys, not some kind of expensive item for adults. Please manufacturers out there, make it easy on the parents! Do any other parents out there struggle with this or am I the only one?

LMAO, this is SO TRUE!!! I had the same problem just a few days ago with a darn package of little pet shop. so frustrating!
No you are not the only one! It's the worst after Christmas present opening and birthdays! They want to play with it so bad and there you are trying to get it opened with kids hovering over you! No pressure! LOL.
I could not agree with you more!! Not only the twistie ties but now on some toys you have those zip tie things that you HAVE to cut off, no way else to get those stupid things off!! My nephews birthday party was yesterday so I feel your pain!!
I agree... not having any kids I don't have to go through this a lot... but I do have 12 nephews and nieces so I know what a pain in the butt it can be from experiencing it at Christmas... especially when they are all screaming for their toys and your fingers are trying to work as hard as they can to get the stupid things untied!
