Ups and Downs

The past week has been filled with lots of things. Monday I worked on getting the house clean a little and made sure that Kambry had everything she needed for her first day of preschool. Tuesday we all seemed to get up pretty early. Since I have to get up by 6:15 everyday anyways to get McKenna up and ready for school, it was no big deal. Kambry was up at the same time getting ready for her school. She was ready to leave as soon as sent Kenna on her way. It's hard to explain to a three year old that her school didn't start for another hour and a half. Of course I snapped a photo of her first day. She was so excited and had no problem when I left her. I would have been nice to have a little of a sad face that mom was leaving...oh well, as long as she is happy. Aislynn wanted to stay too but I told her maybe in a couple of years. Wednesday was Aislynn's one year check up. She was 18 lbs, 2 ounces and tall. I can't remember how tall but she is growing quickly. Her weight dropped down to the 10% but I am attributing that to her being so much more active. We will be keeping an eye on it though. She still loves to eat like a grown up. No more baby food at all for her. She won't touch the stuff. For breakfast she likes my Special K red berry waffles, fruit and sometimes some cheerios. At lunch she eats sliced cheese, lunchmeat, bread, yogurt, and anything else I have to share with her. For dinner she will eat what we are eating and always loves pudding or something yummy for dessert. I worked on Wednesday evening and then again on Thursday during the day. It was busy but good. Friday I was a lazy girl. I think I did just one load of laundry, watched a movie, went to Target and Walmart, made dinner and passed out on the couch. It was really nice to not really do anything. We don't have any big plans for the weekend but would like to make a trip to the beach if the weather holds out. That's my week in short, I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend and gets lots of rest
