Happy 4th Birthday Kambry!

Even though I couldn't believe that I have a six year old now, I really can't believe that my little Kambry is now four years old. She was born at 12:28pm on this day four years ago weighing in at 6 lbs, 13 oz.

She was the smallest of my three girls and I am pretty sure that she will continue to be my littlest. She is the most giving, caring, and loving little girl. I am so proud of her. Even though most people would believe that she could do no wrong, she actually does have a bad sad that comes out every now and then. When she was very young my husband taught her the puppy dog face. Ever since then, she has been using it to her advantage. She knows that we just can't resist it.

So, over the past year, Kambry has really learned alot. I think her big sister helps her in that department. She counts really well, can write her name almost legibly, and is getting so much better at drawing and coloring. She goes to preschool on Tues and Thurs and has really started interacting well with the other kids. I think she will really enjoy pre kindergarten in the fall.
Kambry wants to be just like her big sister. Whatever Kenna has, Kambry wants. Whatever Kenna does, Kambry does the same. Whatever Kenna says, Kambry repeats. Sometimes I can tell that it really annoys McKenna but I guess that's all part of growing up. I just hope that Kenna can continue to be a good role model.
One other trait I see in Kambry is the "little mommy" inside. She is great with helping out with Aislynn. She loves to give her hugs and kisses and tries to keep her entertained when I am busy doing something.
For her birthday we took her out to breakfast, then bowling, went and had some yummy lunch, and then home to open presents and pop balloons(something she really wanted to do). It was a great day for her.

I Heart Faces "Just for Fun"

This week at I Heart Faces the theme is "Wedding Bells". As you can tell, I do not have a wedding bells photo. I have not been to a wedding in a while and have not taken any photos of a wedding. So, needless to say I have no wedding photos.

I am glad they decided to have a "just for fun" category so I can still enter something this week. This category is not judged but it's still fun to throw a photo in and see what everyone else has to contribute. This photo is of my sweet Kambry Lynn last week. She can be so cute when she wants to be. I just loved this expression on her face.

I want to know...

I would like to know which one you like best? Whenever I edit a photo I always end up doing so many versions of it because I like them all. Now I want to hear from you!! Let me know which one you like and why you like it. If there is one you don't like you can tell me that too and why you don't. I just can't get away from editing...it's taking up all my time!!

Father's Day and Our Anniversary

Today, June 21, is Father's Day but it is also the day my husband and I were married 7 years ago. This photo is of my dad and I from this day seven years ago. He passed away last year right about this time from COPD. So Dad, Happy Father's Day up above, I hope you are watching down on us and smiling today!

First time a Father: January 5, 2004- McKenna Haylie was born.

Second time a father: January 17, 2006- Kambry Lynn was born.

Third time a father: August 22, 2008- Aislynn Kate was born.

This morning we woke up at a fairly early hour, got dressed, and headed out the door to Cracker Barrel to take Daddy out for breakfast. We love country cooking and had our fill on anything and everything. Even Aislynn joined in and had many bites of pancakes, grits, scrambled eggs, biscuits, hashbrown casserole and even finished off her banana plum grape baby food. She wanted more and more and fussed until she got it. I think we are just going to relax around the house for the rest of the day. I love a lazy Sunday, it just makes more work for Monday right?
These years have gone by so quickly and now we have three beautiful daughters, one dog, and two cats. The above picture is from out first dance as a married couple. We love to dance and miss the times when we could easily go out on a Friday night. I don't see any of those days coming soon, maybe down the road when are kids are more grown. At least we have a loving home with many memories made each and every day.

Happy Father's Day all you fathers out there and Happy Anniversary to us!!

My Sweet Kambry

The other day the girls wanted to play outside in the baby pool I have. They were splashing around like a bunch of fish in water. They were having such a good time and I was enjoying the shade. It was pretty warm out there. Kambry told me that she had to go potty so I told her to dry off real quick and run inside and go. A few minutes later she comes outside buck naked. She told me that she couldn't get her swimsuit back on by herself. She decided that she really wanted to leave it off. It was just us girls and the backyard is fenced in so I said ok. Then she just started running around in the backyard naked instead of playing in the pool. I finally convinced her to get her swimsuit back on if all she was going to do is run around. What I wouldn't give to be young again and be able to run around outside with nothing but the breeze blowing. During all that fun, I was able to snap a couple of pictures.
