Just about halfway there

Being halfway through your pregnancy is 1) a good thing that time is actually moving forward, 2) a bad thing because you still have 20 more weeks to go, but 3) great because you have made it this far without any complications or real reasons to complain. Don't get me wrong, I am not happy at all about how my belly is way bigger than I think it should be right now but I am dealing with it. I keep thinking about getting through the awfully hot summer and growing bigger and bigger each week. I am feeling the baby move pretty regularly now. It's funny how at first you aren't sure if that is what you are feeling or if it's your belly telling you it's hungry or just your food digesting. But at this point I am fairly certain what I am feeling all the time is that little one kicking about in there. It really is a neat feeling, something that is hard to explain.  All you moms out there know just what I am talking about.  It's also the one thing that I miss once the baby is born.  My husband asked me today if I was feeling the baby move yet and I told him I was.  He asked if it was too early to feel it from the outside and I said yes but hopefully in a few more weeks he will be able to feel those punches from the outside that I am feeling from the inside.  Since we are not finding out the sex of the baby we are coming up with boy and girl names.  We have a couple good ideas but are still looking in case another name pops out as us that we just love.  Does anyone have any names that they really love?  We are looking for boy names that begin with B.  The middle name is going to be Edward because that is my husbands middle name and we are going to keep the same initials.  If the baby is a girl we are open to any name.  I don't really like names that everyone else has right now, I like something a little different but not too different.  I think we are so picky but I guess that's how you have to be sometimes.  We are going next week for my ultrasound even though we aren't finding out the sex it will still be nice to see the baby and make sure everything is still on track as it should be.  I will post ultrasound photos when I get them.  I hope the next few months go quickly because I can't wait to meet this little one and introduce him or her to all of you!

I don't know many boy names with a b. Brody, Braxton, Bryce, Brycen, Britten . . .

As far as girls . . We went through Eliza, Audra, Averly, Brynly . .

If we ever have a boy the name will be with a C and follow my husbands middle name and his intials :)

I'm glad your doing good. And halfway already. That's amazing. Time is flying by in blog world.

B names??? I do like Braxton, I work with a guy who's grandson's name is Brayson. Pronounced like grayson but with a B. Sounds weird at first but I love it now..
Hmmm I love LOVE LOVE the name Bradley. Its definitely in my top 5 boys names.

I hope your ultrasound goes perfect :)

Oh and I've been seeing your past few photog posts and your doing a fabulous job as usual. Your very talented.

I'm so excited for you. I only have 2.5 weeks left till we meet our little girl (assuming she goes till her due date) and I actually think I would love it if it wasn't so darn close. I'm getting nervous now. We haven't done a darn thing to get ready except for a little mental prep. You know, for sleep deprivation and all.

For little girls, I like Ayla. I think it is super cute and feminine.

Wow, halfway there already! It's going by fast, at least for us anyway. :) I don't have any names for a boy but I love Lydia for a girl.

I'm not even sure how I found your blog, but I did!

I'm 18 weeks pregnant today, and though we're finding out what it is we won't know for about 3 more weeks yet.

I really love Benjamin for a boys name (but that's my husband's middle name). Our first son is named Lucas Andrew. For a girl, I have so many names picked out it's ridiculous (I'm REALLY hoping for one!). I think our favorite (right now) is Clara Jane.

I refuse to use any name in the top 20 on the social security list. I definitely don't want my kid to have the name everyone else has!

Congratulations on making to the halfway point! And having the big ultrasound soon to see your little baby hanging out in there...that is always so exciting, whether it is your 1st or 4th. :)

I never had to contemplate boy names, thankfully, for there aren't any I absolutely love. Go tot eh Social Security website and enter 1920 to see some of the old fashioned names. Might spark a new idea. For a girl, I love Josephine. Again, I am into old fashioned names. :)

Hang in there through the heat!
