Moving On Up

Today was a great day for my husband, but also for the whole family! This morning, at a laid back ceremony at my husband's office, he was officially promoted from Captain to Major in the Marine Corps. Semper Fi! He has tens years in and probably looks like another ten more to go. Kambry, Aislynn, and I were in attendance and I got to pin on his new rank! He gave me a little lesson this morning on how to do it. He probably thought I would put it on backwards or something(knowing me, that's a good thing he did). I told him it would take some getting used to calling him a Major now instead of a Captain. We are so proud of him!

On another note, Aislynn is still not 100% but seems to be feeling better. Kambry has come down with whatever it is that Aislynn has. My car needs a good cleaning on the inside. She is now laying on the floor next to my bed on top of a stack of blankets and towels. I am so not looking forward to what the next few days have in store if it's moving it's way around all of us.
Plus, to make this day even better(you know, after dealing with throw up and diarrhea) one of my cats decided to pee on my computer. I am surprised it is still working!

Congrats to your hubby! How awesome. My hubby did 4 years in. Which is nothing compared to 10! Oh my. I commend him and you as his wife. It is not easy. Thanks for the service to our country.

Congrats to you and your husband. How exciting is that? You all look so proud and happy.

p.s. I really hope that you don't get the sickness bug. At least the adults should be spared.

Congratulations to you both! I'm glad you've had 10 safe years, and pray for 10 more of the same! :)

Sorry to hear about the GI bug.
The boys and my mom all had it a couple of weeks ago, which caused some pooping on my nephew's carpeted floor, and spewing at the birthday dinner table. Very embarrassing and stinky! Hopefully it'll go away soon!

I miss y'all, and hope you come see us again soon. If you have some time this summer, come see us in Colorado (email me for more details!). :) :) :) We'll find some babysitters and go dancing!

Take care

That's a big one, moving from O3 to O4...congratulations! I guess that sick bug is traveling across the southern states, as I fought it with my daughter last week. Every time she needed to throw up she came to my bed. Thanks honey! :)

Sorry to hear the girls aren't better yet. I noticed one of yours was missing in these pics. I hope they get better soon.
