A Post for Nana

I know that you keep asking to see more photos of the girls, so I figured I would dedicate a post just for you. I know it's only a few photos but I hope it will hold you over for a few days. I think the best way to see them more is to move out this way...we are ready. Just giving you something to think about at least. Also that way, you could take as many photos as you wanted...all the time. Hope you have a great weekend! Talk to you soon.

They grow up too fast...

Everyone tells you to to cherish each and every moment because before you know it, it's gone. Boy are they right. I have been married almost 8 years and have a 6 year old, 4 year old, and an 18 month old. As much as I am loving my life right now I am also realizing that it is changing so quickly. My little babes are no longer so little. They are walking and talking and singing and asking questions all the time. There are no silent moments in our house. There is no running a quick errand. But that's okay, because I have a wonderful family and wonderful girls that I am so happy I have. We are all healthy, we have a roof over our heads and food on the table every night. I will deal with the struggles on not wanting to eat what's for dinner, I will deal with baths and bedtimes. I get to do these things, I get to be a mom! I am totally grateful for that. Some days I wish I could just turn back the clock, make my babies little again. I am already missing the time that has escaped me so quickly. Sometimes I am in too much of a hurry, sometimes I don't appreciate the everyday moments. Today is not one of those days. Today I am taking it one moment at a time. Today I am watching as the day moves on. Here is what I am seeing:

Innocence in my little ones eyes:

Smiles on my oldest face:

Sweetness looking up at me:

And I get to capture time here in my photos. It's a way of slowing things down, if even just for a moment.

Let's Hear it for the Boys: I Heart Faces

Since this weekend was Father's Day and all the theme at I Heart Faces this week is "Let's Hear it for the Boys." You can submit any photo of a male, no girls allowed. My first entry is for the kids category. This is a darling little boy named Garrett. He was a bit shy but let me snap a few cute pics of him one day at my daughter's t-ball game. You can see the innocence on his face.
