The fourth of July is such a fun holiday. It falls smack dab in the middle of the summer, making it usually a hot sunny day and equally hot evening. Here's how our weekend went:
On Friday I got up early to do some grocery shopping for the weekend, then we laid down a small patio area for our trash cans before lunch and after that went to the pool in the afternoon. All the girls had such a great time. I am thinking I will be making more appearances at the pool with the weather as hot as it is. Too bad it's not within walking distance. Can you tell that the day wore Kambry out? This is yet another episode of falling asleep at the table. She eats really slow so I am usually waiting on her to get done. When I went to check on her, this is how I found her...Saturday started with tidying up the house and relaxing around lunch time. We made some homemade ice cream in the afternoon and some friends came over in the early evening to hang out, grill, eat (of course), and do small fireworks with the girls. My friend made a cake with blueberries and strawberries and it was wonderful!!! I know I will pay for that later with some extra working out. All in all, it was a beautiful day. We did have the threat of rain as I heard thunder in the distance but we were lucky and it passed by and we stayed dry. Here are a few pictures of the day.
OMG!! I love the picture of Aislynn. You did a nice job editing that. and the very last one is perfect! I love the shot of the whole family and then the one of the three girls. They are so beautiful!
I love all the photos, esp the family shot! OK - so what photoshop do you use? We are thinking about purchasing it...esp afer I oogle over all your incredible pictures. You can make ANY shot look incredible!
Very cute, Kambry sleeping is adorable. All you pictures are excellent. They really capture great moments. Thanks for the wonderful comments on my blog. Marianne
Absolutely loved all the pictures! I've always been a sucker for the Red, White & Blue. And the girls are just the icing on the cake. They were all so adorable! Great shots of everything!
How nice for you to have such a wonderful new family picture! And I really like the last sparkler picture. Looks like your whole family had a great weekend!
This is me. I am a 30 year old wife, mother, RN, photographer, cleaner upper, part time cook, hair band maker, computer talker, breastfeeding, baby making, sunshine loving, hometown Texan, military spouse living woman.. I love my life as mommy and wife. I couldn't ask for more right now...except maybe to move back to Texas. Any questions? Just ask.
The Daddy
Here is my husband and father to our three beautiful girls. He is in the Marines and loving every minute of it. I hate when he leaves for months at a time but he is serving our country and does a dang good job at it. I don't think he ever thought he would end up with three girls but he loves them with all his heart.
McKenna
Our full of life 6 year old is McKenna. She is very independent and loves being a big sister. She is in kindergarden this year and loves to draw. I love her imagination and how she can make anyone laugh.
Kambry Lynn
Being the middle child isn't always easy. Kambry is 4 and is our little sweetheart. The word "NO" is hard to say to her when she walks up to you with those sweet eyes and soft smile. Kambry is a second mommy to little Aislynn and loves giving kisses to everyone.
Our Baby Girl
Aislynn is now 1 year old and keeps us on our toes. She is nothing like her sisters and lets you know that. She likes to play peek a boo and chase her sisters around the house. She is also running all over the place. We love her more than words can say.
Well, I am a 30 year old mother of three beautiful girls, three four legged boys, and a husband who I sometimes refer to as another one of my kids. Right now I am working two to three days a week as a Registered Nurse and the rest the time I stay busy with my girls at home. Photography has become a passion of mine. I love photographing my family's lives. I love kissing their little toes. I love being a wife to my husband and watching him be a father to our children. Life doesn't get any better than this!
