Not Me! Monday!

I know you know what time it is...it's Not Me! Monday! time!!! This lovely blog carnival was created by Mckmama at MyCharmingKids. She is gonna spice it up a little so I read. This is gonna be a short one:

I did not stay up late on Friday night watching countless episodes of My First Place and Property Virgins on HGTV only to not want to yell at the people on TV because they were so clueless about buying a house. I do not get way too into those shows. I do not want to move all the time. I don't even like looking at houses. I did not drive around today looking at houses I can't afford and I did not try to come up with a way to buy a condo on the water to rent. No, I would never waste my valuable time with such silly ideas.

I did not buy a cute pettiskirt for my daughters to wear so I can dress them up like the little girls they are and take tons of pictures of them. They don't see me and automatically smile because they think I have the camera in my hand. I would never ignore work around the house so I can play around on the computer editing photos and learning tricks to be better. I am not that attached to a hobby. I do not have a million other things I should be doing.

Not Me! Monday!

Could it already be Monday again?? The past week went by very quickly again. Now it's time to tell all. This blog carnival was created by the wonderful Mckmama. She and everyone else is ready to let everyone know what they did NOT do this past week.

I have three girls. They like to run around in the buff. Can I blame them?? If I were their age I would too. McKenna, my oldest, wanted to play in a tutu yesterday. Just a tutu. I told her to put on a shirt. Then she decided she didn't want the tutu on anymore so she took it off and played joyfully around the house. After dinner we all decided to run a grab a sweet treat. I did not let her get in the car with nothing on but a tank top and panties. After all, we weren't getting out of the car, just going through the drive thru.

I did not order pizza two nights in a row. We did not decide it was perfectly okay to feed the kids cheese pizza two nights in row also. I did not drink lots of Coke and I certainly did not feel fat afterwards. I totally did not take advantage of Sonic's Free Root Beer Float night either. I know it was my own fault, it was just so good!!

Here's a good one. I did not finally get around to washing the sheets off my daughters beds after about a month and a half(or maybe a little more). Then my cat did not get up on the top bunk to take a nap, then get sick, and throw up not only on the top bed but also over the edge onto the bottom bed leaving me no choice but to wash everything again only two days later. I just love making their beds. Did anyone tell me when I bought bunk beds how hard it would be to make them? NO! I actually have to climb up on McKenna's bed to get her sheets on.

Not Me! Monday!

I know, I know. Two post again on a Monday. I just find it so hard to do just one when I love them both so much. Not Me! Monday is a wonderful blog carnival created by MckMama herself!! It's the time of week when we all let loose and hold nothing back. I have not participated in a few weeks so I hope this one isn't too bad.

Here goes:

I did not take a shower last night, go to bed with my hair somewhat wet, wake up this morning, throw on clothes and that's how I have spent my day. No, I did not go out in public looking like a messy ball of yarn, and no I did not care!!

I did not get the baby pool out for the girls to play in simply because I wanted to work on my tan. Don't worry, I am still white as a ghost. Turns out that I didn't even get any sun because I was too busy making sure the dog left Aislynn alone as I entertained her on the towel. And during that entertainment I did not turn away trying to get a good picture of McKenna sliding into the pool only to turn back and see my baby putting a fistful of grass towards her mouth. No, I would never let her eat grass, even if she does like it.

I would never laugh at my daughter for her fascination with my dog's private parts. He must be going through puberty and since we shaved his hair short and all it is easy to see. She will just sit there and stare at him and bend over so she can see what's underneath. I would never put my dog outside just to get it off Kambry's mind. It's like a new toy to her. Don't worry, she hasn't tried to touch it or anything.
